'123456789' is the standard check input: CRC-32 must give cbf43926 and CRC-32C e3069283. These are for detecting accidental corruption and for hash tables and sharding, never for security: anyone can construct a collision. MurmurHash3 is what Cassandra, Kafka's partitioner and many Bloom filters use; xxHash is the fast checksum behind zstd and LZ4 frames.

About this tool
Method, assumptions, practical next steps, and limits.
Which one you need
CRC-32 is in ZIP, gzip and PNG; CRC-32C, with the Castagnoli polynomial and hardware support on modern CPUs, is in iSCSI, ext4, Btrfs and Kafka; Adler-32 is in zlib streams. MurmurHash3 drives Cassandra's partitioner and many Bloom filters, and xxHash checks zstd and LZ4 frames. All of them detect accidental changes and none of them resist deliberate ones.
Check values
For the input 123456789, CRC-32 is cbf43926 and CRC-32C is e3069283; these values are listed for every CRC variant in the CRC RevEng catalogue. If your code gives a different result, the polynomial, reflection or final XOR differs.
