Input

Convert SVG to PNG at any size

Output

Rendering...

Rendered by the browser's own SVG engine, so what you see in the page is what you get. An SVG drawn into a canvas cannot load external resources: web fonts and linked images are skipped, so convert text to paths (or embed the font) first. The height follows the SVG's viewBox ratio.

Runs in this browser. Nothing you paste is sent to a server.

Same renderer as the page

The SVG is rendered by the same engine that displays SVGs on web pages, so gradients, filters and transforms come out as you see them in the browser. Because the output is rasterised at the target size, the PNG is sharp at any resolution, including 2× and 3× app icons.

Fonts and external images

An SVG drawn through an image element cannot load external resources: linked images, CSS files and web fonts are skipped and text falls back to a system font. Convert text to outlines in the design tool, or embed fonts and images as data URIs, before converting.

Frequently asked questions

How do I convert SVG to PNG on the command line?
rsvg-convert -w 512 icon.svg -o icon.png, or Inkscape's --export-type=png. Both render without a browser.
Why is my PNG blank?
The SVG probably has no width and height and no viewBox, so it has no intrinsic size. Add a viewBox and convert again.
Is what I paste sent anywhere?
No. The tool runs entirely in your browser with JavaScript. Nothing you type or paste is sent to our server or stored.
