Drawn as SVG and rasterised by this browser for the PNG, WebP and JPEG downloads, so nothing is fetched from a placeholder service, which is one less third-party request (and one less tracking pixel) in a prototype. The data URI can go straight into an img src.
Runs in this browser. Nothing you paste is sent to a server.
About this tool
Method, assumptions, practical next steps, and limits.
No third-party request
Placeholder services work by putting a remote URL in your img tag, which means an external request on every page view of a prototype, and a third party that sees your page URLs. A generated file or data URI keeps the prototype self-contained and works offline.
Sizes that matter
Use the real aspect ratio of the final image so layout and cropping decisions made against the placeholder hold. For Open Graph cards, the common recommendation is 1200 × 630 pixels; the Open Graph protocol site documents the tags.
